Highly recognized as one of the best videographers in the country, Gary has won numerious awards for all aspects of film production. Gary studied at Brooks Institute, Film Department in Santa Barbara. He brings years of wedding and event video experience to every production. His talents as an outstanding videographer and editor are well documented. Gary has had the pleasure to film weddings and events for and/or direct such notables as Dustin Hoffman, Barbra Steisand, Jane Seymour, Jimmy Stewart, Jeff Bridges, Michael Douglas, Kirk Douglas, Kenny Loggins, Debbie Reynolds, Jane Russell, David Foster, Kenny Rogers, Brad Pitt, & Angelina Jolie. Furthermore Gary has filmed almost every celebrity to participate in The Santa Barbara International Film Festival in the past five years.
Along with his film production accomplishments Gary is a professional narrator for commercials and film. He recently narrated the film “SBCC@100” which premiered at the 2010 SBIFF. However, weddings and events remain Gary’s focus and a generation of brides and grooms continue to enjoy and relive the incredible memories and moments he has captured on film.
Harlene is an award winning videographer with a background in acting and film. She studied with such notables as Eli Rill (The Actor’s Studio) and was an Assistant Director for Norman B. Schwartz (Sanford Meisner Studio). Harlene also co-produced the cable TV show “Discover Lompoc” for four seasons resulting in a WAVE award for excellence in broadcasting. She served as a guest host for several episodes as well as primary videographer. For the past five years Harlene has covered the Red Carpet at The Santa Barbara International Film Festival interviewing countless celebrities including Kate Winslet, James Cameron, Colin Firth, Stanley Tucci, Julianne Moore, and Jane Seymour. Experienced in all phases of film production, Harlene’s passion remains with weddings and the unique quality of every bride and groom.
With artistry and the experience of having filmed hundreds of weddings and events, Harlene knows both sides of the camera and how to bring out the beauty of any subject she is filming.
Born into a family of filmmakers, William has had a camera in his hand since the day he could press the record button. Starting his career as a documentarian in high school, William became the youngest person ever to take Best In Show at the 2005 Accolade Competition for his editing of a You’re The Star Wedding Film. This was followed by a 2005 Telly Award and numerous awards within Santa Barbara County.
Continuing his education, William began attending the School of Media Arts Film Production program at Santa Barbara City College. His first year, William was awarded Best Documentary Film at the school’s annual awards show. The following year William was hired by SBCC to create a documentary film celebrating the school’s centennial. SBCC@100 premiered at the 25th Santa Barbara International Film Festival to critical acclaim and two sold out screenings. At the end of his second year at SBCC, William became the first student to win consecutive Best Documentary Awards, with a local paper stating that William is “one of the great documentary filmmakers of the next generation.” Furthermore, in 2010 William was named Student of the Year by Santa Barbara City College.
William loves to channel his creative energy into every wedding and event production, providing both classical training and a modern, cinematic eye.
Having grown up in the wedding and event video industry David brings an exciting perspective to his award winning filming. Winner of the prestigious Aegis Award for excellence in Wedding Videography, David’s cutting edge skills are found in his ability to document events for generations to come. Masterfully trained in an unobtrusive style of filming, David captures detail with a grace and elegance that most filmmakers spend lifetimes developing.
A graduate of UCSB, David has also studied various aspects of event film production through WEVA (The Wedding and Event Videographers Association). A co-producer of the WAVE Award winning television series Discover Lompoc and numerous other local productions, David has filmed projects throughout California and across the globe including Italy, France and England.
David’s cinematic style, years of experience and incredible vision are evident in each wedding and event he produces.
